Humectants, occlusives, and emollients are key ingredients in a good moisturiser, and ALHYDRAN contains all three. Many other moisturizers do not have this combination. Humectants draw moisture into the skin, occlusives form a barrier to lock in moisture, and emollients smooth and soften the skin. This makes ALHYDRAN an effective choice for keeping skin hydrated and healthy.

You can use ALHYDRAN for as long as needed. Apply it 3 times a day while the scar is healing or as often as your skin needs. Scars can stay active and cause issues for up to 1.5-2 years. Use ALHYDRAN to help prevent and treat problem scars.
You can start applying ALHYDRAN when the skin (wound) is closed and when any scabs and stitches have been removed. To promote the recovery of the damaged skin, it is also possible to rub the surrounding skin of a wound with ALHYDRAN to promote the recovery of the damaged skin.
ALHYDRAN can be used from the age of 3 months. If your child is between 3 and 6 months old, it is advisable to discuss its use with the (treating) doctor.
